Join us at OZ Arts Nashville to see this year’s class of Periscope artist entrepreneurs showcase their work, unveil their creative business plans to the public, and share how you can support their entrepreneurial dreams. Periscope Pitch + Artist Entrepreneur Showcase highlights the business acumen, innovative spirit, and artistic prowess of local artists, makers, and entrepreneurs across an array of artistic disciplines including music, dance, film/tv, literary arts, photography, painting, sculpture and more!
The evening begins with the Artist Entrepreneur Showcase from 6–7 p.m. Mix and mingle with the artists as you peruse booths highlighting the businesses they’ve developed this year. You’ll experience new art, hear inspiring music, watch compelling videos, and learn about the talented artist entrepreneurs in Periscope 2021.
At 7 p.m., the Periscope Pitch begins when eight finalists pitch their creative businesses live on stage. Selected through two preliminary rounds over the summer, these artists secured their opportunity to win cash and prizes. The program ends with a graduation and award presentation ceremony announcing the winners of the Fifth Third Bank Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award, Piedmont Natural Gas Foundation Pitch Perfect Award, and more.
The Periscope Pitch + Artist Entrepreneur Showcase is the culmination of the Arts & Business Council’s Periscope: Artist Entrepreneur Training program. Don’t miss your chance to glimpse what the future holds for Nashville’s creative community!
