ABOUT ARTS IMMERSION 2011:
Do you fancy art? Do you like open bars and rooftops in summertime? Are you keen on rubbing elbows with attorneys and artists — the perfect blend of suits and skinny jeans?
If so, mark your calendar for year’s Arts Immersion coming Thursday, June 2, 2011, 6:30PM at the Nashville Farmer’s Market– the summer event of the season where you can drink, dance and don your trendiest for a good cause. An intro via immersion to the creative community, this event features Nashville’s most original and appreciated artists from all disciplines. All proceeds from the night support the ABC’s Volunteer Lawyers & Professionals for the Arts program.
WHAT: Arts Immersion showcases some of our finest local talents. Arts offerings include: spoken word, acting, dance, film, visual and performance art as well as a special musical appearance by Abigail Washburn. The evening is topped off with a unique silent auction featuring everything from co-writing sessions with top songwriters to enticing offers from local businesses.
WHO: Attorneys, artists and a plethora of business professionals – a.k.a. – the perfect blend of suits and skinny jeans.
WHY: To give a big thank you – both to our city’s creative talent and the professionals that so generously support it.
WHEN & WHERE: Thurs., June 2, 2011 – 6:30-9:00 PM at the Nashville Farmers Market.
FOOD/DRINK: Plenty. And did we mention it’s open bar? There will be ample libations, as well as delicious fare from local vendors and restaurants.
TICKETS: $40
TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR.
Included in the ticket price, each guest receives a complimentary membership to ABC Untied, which provides one of a kind arts social and volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
2010 Arts Immersion in Review
Last year’s Arts Immersion, was on June 3, 2010 at the ICON in the Gulch and featured music from a variety of local artists; performance art courtesy of Playing by Air; film reels from FilmNashville and Nashville Film Festival; as well as visual art from some of Nashville’s finest painters and photographers. The evening was topped off with a unique silent auction featuring everything from co-writing sessions with top local songwriters to enticing offers form local businesses.
